Crowd Favorites Old and New Turn Out For the Furry Vengeance Premiere

Red carpet events always draw some interesting crowds, and this was definitely true of the Los Angeles Furry Vengeance Premiere. The screening, which took place on April 18th, had some of Hollywood's most respected veterans and brightest new stars in attendance. Brooke Shields was there with Brendan Fraser and their co-stars Skyler Samuels and Angela Kinsey.

Brendan Fraser appeared to be excited about finally seeing his first major motion picture in two years, since his 2008 hit Inkheart. Fraser has based a large part of his career on family movies, such as The Mummy. Furry Vengeance, an Earth conscious film for the whole family, is no exception.

While making the film was a lot of fun for Brendan Fraser, putting on the necessary weight was a lot of work. Fraser needed a little extra padding on his backside to perform all of the physical comedy routines in the movie. Since shooting finished on the film, he says his passion for pizza has made it difficult to lose the weight.

Another seasoned veteran who worked the red carpet was the lovely Brooke Shields. Shields first stole America's heart at age fifteen when she made the film The Blue Lagoon. She has since had an impressive career and seemed to be glowing as she made her way into the premiere.

Her amazing film and television career has not been the only thing keeping America's attention on Brooke Shields. In 2006, she caught the eye of the nation when she released her book Down Came The Rain. The book chronicled her struggle with post-partum depression after the birth of her daughter, Rowan.. It offered a very interesting insight and showed a vulnerability that let the general public know that even major starts are subject to trauma such as this.

The old favorites were not the only ones who made big appearances at the premiere for Furry Vengeance. Skyler Samuels was working the red carpet in support of her first big movie at just sixteen years of age. Although the grown ups may not know who she is, the kids will recognize her from several Disney Channel shows.

Another actress who crossed over from television to film in this movie is Angela Kinsey, who is most recognizable as Angela Martin on The Office. Before The Office, she appeared on many TV shows including King Of The Hill and Monk. In addition, she appears in a number of The Office "webisodes." It showed a totally different side to the actress that has become known as someone who is a little stiff due to her character in The Office.

The Furry Vengeance premiere was the place to be to see everyone's favorite stars, new and old. The eco-friendly themes in this movie make it something that the whole family can enjoy watching together. It is actually a great way to introduce the kids to environmental issues in fun and entertaining way. Furry Vengeance will be playing in theatres nationwide on April 30, 2010. The Back-Up Plan Premiere is a Star-Studded Event

The Back-Up Plan premiere caused the Hollywood elite to make the short trip to the Regency Village Theatre on April 21. The film's star, Jennifer Lopez, was joined by co-stars Alex O'Loughlin and Tom Bosley and actors the likes of Leah Remini and Heidi Klum. Lopez beamed with pride as husband Marc Anthony escorted her on the red carpet.

Lopez actually had a second escort in the form of Nubbins, her canine co-star. Nubbins is a handicapped dog who steals the show in the movie and he did not disappoint when it came to red carpet attire. His puppy wheelchair was pink in color and adorned by flowers. The snazzy little pooch even sported a flower printed bandana.

While Nubbins stole the hearts of onlookers, Lopez dazzled them with her flashy silver one-shoulder Gianfranco Ferré dress. Her Cartier jewelry and Ferragamo peep-toe heels would have been enough to cause a reaction from the crowd, but Lopez did not stop there. She went all out, sporting a classic 1930s hairstyle that served to turn even more heads.

Lopez kept the fashion show going at the London premiere of the highly anticipated movie, which took place on April 28. The carpet was pink this time and Lopez's black modern dress complimented this nicely. The one-sleeved style paid off once again for Lopez, as she was adorned with a design from Lanvin's Spring Collection. Lopez replaced the silver belt showcased on the Lanvin runway show with a black leather sash. Her chunky necklace was a great match, as were the Ferragamo heels and Jimmy Choo black clutch.

The always-beautiful Heidi Klum was stunning in an Emilio Sosa original. Many will recall that this dress was created during the seventh season of Klum's Project Runway television show. Contestants on the show were tasked with creating an outfit for Klum to wear and the resulting design was then shortened to highlight the amazing legs possessed by the model/actress..

Alex O'Loughlin appeared very dapper in his crisp and classic dark-colored suit. A colored striped tie drew the eye away from his attractive face, but added a whimsical look to his outfit. The Australian O'Loughlin definitely turned heads at this premiere for his first major leading role.

The Back-Up Plan provides viewers with the type of romantic comedy that they have come to expect from Jennifer Lopez. Lopez plays Zoe, who gives up on love and decides to become a single mother. As soon as she attempts to become a mother on her own, enter Stan, who becomes the love of her life.. Zoe finds out that she is pregnant with twins as Stan struggles with this knowledge while attempting to build a relationship with Zoe.

The Back-Up Plan premiere provided stars with a reminder of the excellent acting ability possessed by Jennifer Lopez. Lopez and Nubbins were the highlights of the Los Angeles premiere of the film and Lopez continued to wow the crowd a week later in London. The movie opened in theatres on April 23 and the reviews have been great, so make it a point to check out this film. How to Choose a Corner TV Stand For Your Home

If you think about it, televisions have changed drastically since they first came available on the market to consumers. In fact, the styles and lifestyles of our society has changed a lot too in that same period of time.

Not too long ago, television sets were a big piece of wooden furniture with a screen built into it. This type of TV would probably be considered a console style in today's market. TVs looked and stayed this way for a long time. The television became the main showpiece of any living room and the console-style was considered to be high technology equipment - at the time. These TV sets were huge and very bulky, taking up a lot of room within the living space, becoming a part of the overall decor scheme.

Compare those big, bulky sets to today's televisions and you will see big changes. Today's televisions are designed to fit in with the more modern design styles of our homes, no matter how large or small. The flat TV screen revolutionized designer opportunities for integrating the television into any home regardless of the decor style or theme.

Entertainment furniture has also changed a lot over the years, with furniture companies scrambling to build a variety of models to suit the needs of consumers. For rooms that are short on space but still want to feature a television, corner TV stands are an obvious solution.

You can use these corner stands to place a television in an area of your home that you otherwise wouldn't have been able to fit one of those large entertainment centers into in the past. By using the corner TV stand we can accomplish this goal - and much more.

These stands help you to use the size and scheme of your room in a much more efficient manner, and they also help you to use the space within your home much more productively. Corner TV stands can be a fantastic solution for small areas where no other piece of furniture would work otherwise, allowing the homeowner to effectively decorate their home in the manner that they desire.

There are many options available for consumers who wish to purchase a corner TV stand, with models that range from wooden to metal, or glass to multi-media construction, there are many stores that carry these useful products. You can also find many unique styles and options just by searching for corner TV stands on the Internet, opening up a whole new world of shopping opportunities to you even if you live in a remote location. The TV Land Awards Honor Old Classics and New Favorites

The 2010 TV Land Awards, which were hosted by actor Tim Allen, was an exciting event attended by some of television's best loved performers. Classic and contemporary stars were all on board, from "Golden Girl" Betty White to the stars of the hot show Glee. Fan Favorite and Future Classic were just a couple of the special awards given out that night.

The beloved program The Love Boat was recognized as this year's TV Land Fan Favorite. Starring Gavin MacLeod and Bernie Kopell, the show revolved around the lives of those aboard The Pacific Princess, a lavish cruise ship that seemed to have more challenges in a week than most ships see in a year. While it was on the air, The Love Boat was nominated for two Emmys and four Golden Globes.

Younger viewers must have been overjoyed that the Future Classic award went to the successful new series, Glee. Television's smash hit of 2009, Glee follows the highs and lows of a secondary school show choir as they attempt to win a national competition. The show gained "future classic" status as a result of its sharp lines and impressive song and dance routines, which make it truly unique.

The esteemed Legend Award was received this year by men who have both changed the face of comedy, Mel Brooks and Carl Reiner. Reiner became a television classic as a writer on The Dick Van Dyke Show, while Brooks has several classic comedies under his belt, like Spaceballs, Young Frankenstein and the Broadway hit, The Producers. This marks the first year that there have been two recipients of the Legend Award.

The show that was awarded for having the biggest influence on Pop Culture was the 1970's hit Charlie's Angels. Charlie's Angels was not only a classic TV show, but it spun off into two hit films starring Drew Barrymore and Cameron Diaz. Co-stars Jaclyn Smith and Cheryl Ladd accepted the award without their late costar, Farrah Fawcett.

The hit Everybody Loves Raymond received TV Land's Impact Award, and stars Ray Romano and Brad Garrett were standing by to accept. As an additional honor, they were given their award by the great Bob Newhart. During the nine years that Everybody Loves Raymond aired, it was nominated for an impressive 129 awards, winning forty-nine.

The 30th anniversary of the short-lived 1980's program Bosom Buddies was celebrated during the TV Land Awards ceremony. Jay Leno presented the prize to the actors from the show, which aired between 1980 and 1982 on ABC and on NBC in reruns during 1984. None other than the show's most distinguished star, Tom Hanks, received the award.

The TV Land Awards was a fun and diverse ceremony, paying tribute to stars and a show that spanned generations and genres. An impressive variety of stars turned out for the event, from comedic icons to Academy Award winners. The show was a great way to pay tribute to the stars we loved as they touched our hearts through our televisions for years.
