So, if you already have your 3D ready HDTV, try checking these 3D DVD out and decide for yourself if the 3D technology that you brought to your home is really worth the colossal pay.

The Vampire Diaries - Sara Canning

So I was hanging out on my Facebook as I do, strolling down my wall, when I caught a comment from a college friend of mine; Sara Canning, it got me thinking about this girl. So I clicked her name, and one of the first things I see is a screencap of a column in 'Elle Canada' featuring Miss Sara Canning from the Vampire Diaries.

Now I knew she had hit it big on the television series "vampire diaries" and I've kept up with the show in support of her (not to mention that's it is a pretty awesome show), but it never really hit me how amazing she was doing until I seen that article. I read it, and, I mean it was so cool to read!

The last line of the article read this:

"it has never been an option for me to fail, I think that goes for anyone with a passion: Don't ever be satisfied, always be curious, and always crave more..."

This touched me.

This is exactly it.
Always crave more...

So I Googled her. I read this funny little scandal about her...

I was so amazed, proud, and shocked at all her publicity! She did it. She made the dreamers dream, and its just getting bigger! You know what they say about the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer? That's because the difference is in the drive! The Successful just don't give up...!

What I love about Sara Canning, besides her shining personality, and that she's younger than me; is that we started in the same place. We were both little Albertan girls with a dream. A Big Dream and Big Potential. We graduated Acting School just about the same time, She got an agent right away, and I was doing my Modeling...

And yet I truly admire Sara's ability to captivate her talent, and harness her determination! She, like many, could still be waiting tables waiting for the next big hit... But she didn't wait, her confidence, and her shining personality put together with determination pushed her through the barrier, until she created her success. And I can bet she hasn't even tipped the iceberg yet!

The Message I want to send out with this story is; Never Give up on your goals. Freedom, Success, Popularity...
the House, The Car, The perfect body...

You can do it, if you believe you can! It all starts with just knowing how to take the first step...

Samantha started her journey as a dreamer and after going through her own consistent set of transformation processes grew a deep rooted passion to teach and lead others on how to achieve their own dreams, goals, and aspirations.

Jamie Does Athens - The Final and the Best in the Series

Jamie Does Athens was the final programme in the television series Jamie does. Of all the programmes in the series this was perhaps the one we had been most looking forward to. We are particularly fond of Greece, the people and the food. In this episode Jamie was back on his scooter, which harks back to his early programmes as the naked chef full of enthusiasm. The relaxed style of presentation seems to suit him best, although I do realize that some find him a bit annoying and too much in your face.

He got out and about in Athens visiting a market, where of course there was a great range of fresh food on display. He also visited a kebab shop where he attempted to race the assistant to get a kebab from skewer to bread to wrap. This was followed up by his first recipe, hand made kebabs with tzatziki served with salad and on flat bread.

Sometimes the simplest things are some of the best. I have always been always been a fan of Greek salad and the quick and easy way that he put this together made me hungry for another one. The use of really fresh produce and its importance in good cookery was obvious (though I was not too sure about the giant branches of dried herbs). In one of the later dishes in the programme he used a hard cheese that he had bought that day, from a local maker, to grate over the food. We were treated to a demonstration of how the cheese was made from goat's milk after he had milked the goat himself. Real involvement in the product.

The treats continued; fresh honey and a dessert made from it, and freshly caught tuna steaks griddled on the beach were further highlights. As usual the programme was carried along by Jamie's exuberance and enthusiasm for the food and the surroundings. Some wonderful locations and filming to match added to the whole package. I bought the book very early on in the series. I thoroughly recommend it as an addition to any kitchen bookshelf. There are a lot more recipes (I love his Greek slow cook fricassee of lamb). The photography is superb and the travelogue is good too.

At the time of writing Greece and Athens particularly has had problems with rioting and tourist cancellations. Now things are more peaceful I hope people are encouraged to return by this programme. For me the Jamie Does series has been his best yet and I am sorry that it has finished.
