Production Services in the Holy Land

The most logical, and the best, place to obtain production services in the Holy Land of Israel is from a production company in Israel. Working from a very strong base of years of operating experience in the country and the region, and therefore having a thorough knowledge of the full range of the relevant issues, a production company in Israel would be most suitable to provide assistance with any and all aspects of production services in the Holy Land that you may need for your production.

Production services in the Holy Land are offered by a production company in Israel for every type of filming production, including live broadcasting of sports events, breaking news, and concerts, music videos, education and training videos, documentaries, and full feature films. For live broadcasting of sports, breaking news and concerts, satellite news gathering (SNG) trucks are available for hire, that offer complete uplink, downlink, and turnaround capabilities. Production services in the Holy Land include the ability to film in High-Definition (HD) format.

It does not matter if you are only seeking assistance with one very specialized aspect of your production or if you need assistance with the entire production process, because a production company in Israel can assist you with the full range of the filming production process from the very beginning stages to the final steps of the post-production stage: From advice on flights, hotels and rental cars, to planning, scheduling, research, and searching and scouting for the filming locations, to offering a fixer in Israel as well as rentals of studios, cameras, lighting equipment and HD filming equipment, to offering camera crews and SNG trucks for hire to do the actual filming of your production, all the way through offering editing suites for rental that include the most up-to-date high-quality professional editing equipment so you can wrap up your production in the best way possible.

One of the most valuable areas of help you can get from a production company in Israel as part of production services in the Holy Land is the help with receiving filming permits. As safety and security are top-priority concerns in the Holy Land and in the Middle East generally, it is understandable that regulation of filming productions in Israel is very strict. All filming to be filmed at any place that is not private property must according to the law have a filming permit before the filming begins. By way of having a close relationship built over many years with the offices of government that issue the filming permits, a production company in Israel is in the best position to help your production by making the process of getting the filming permits as efficient and hassle-free as possible.

The Good the Bad and the Ugly - Its Importance to Film

The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly, also known as "Il Buono, Il Brutto, and Il Cattivo" is a spaghetti-western film released in 1966. A spaghetti-western is basically a film with a mix up of Italian directors and producers, as well as Spanish producers or directors. These films were popular in their time, and this film specifically was no exception.

It stars Clint Eastwood, most likely the first face you think of when thinking of western films in general. The plot is based around three individuals with separate characteristics and motives that ultimately battle it out for the same prize. This film is what inspired award winning director, writer, and producer Quentin Tarantino. He said it was the one film that made him want to get into film making in the first place. You can see how nearly all of Quentin's films relate to this film in the way the plot is carried out. Take Pulp Fiction for example, this film keeps you guessing about its plot until the end. This film is very original, along with the great majority of the rest of Quentin's works.

What is so great about The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, is its ability to portray its plot so well. This film does not use the conventional plot you see the majority of films today have. Throughout this entire film, you are unaware of what is going to happen next. The plot is one hundred percent original. Consider how most of the films you watch today you can probably guess the ending. The protagonist usually ends up with a spouse and they live happily ever after. This happens far too commonly yet people are still paying to see it, when it is a merely recycled film concept with different colors. What The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly gives is something entirely original that if people learnt from, could produce much greater films today.

What film makers need to produce are more original plot lines. The best films are those that can keep you guessing throughout the film. Today, very few films have this quality. They are all easily guessable usually from the beginning. If people harness this ability for unconventional plots, they may see themselves producing Grammy quality films before they know it.

Avatar Depression - An Interesting Psychological View

Avatar, the top ranked film of all time, has officially hit everyone as emotionally as possible. Its stunning new technology mixed with digital 3D made its depiction of Pandora nearly real. Many people felt completely different walking out of this film, some for the good and some for the worse.

The result of this cutting edge technology is a film that looks so real, one could almost believe it existed. One could dream about it, and perhaps exist to be there one day. Yeah that whole dreaming of Pandora thing seems cool, but I wasn't turned into an emotional wreck. Apparently this is not the case for the majority of viewers.

After viewing Avatar, a severely large percentage of viewers reported depression. So many, that it has become a widespread topic all over movie forums and Avatar forums. Many people write about their symptoms of depression and how to cope with them. Some even mention suicide. This is extremely scary. This movie goes so deep emotionally that it has people begging for a chance to live on Pandora.

The reason people crave Pandora is because they want a Na'vi- like life. They want a simple life in a close nit tribe on a beautiful planet and a love story to top it off. The reality of things is, the way these Na'vi live truly is a better way of life than our own. It shows that people, despite showing so much consumer insanity, just may be ok with a social system that does not involve high definition TVs. This is actually a good sign in terms of human nature. Some thought if there was ever a drastic event that caused a massive adaptation to a new life style; people would not be able to handle it. An example of this is Peak Oil, or China ruling the world. What people need to understand is earth one ups Pandora in all categories.

Pandora may be a beautiful place, but in my opinion earth is much more interesting. People seem to forget about just how amazing nature is. They sit in their apartment, work 9-5, and see nothing but a concrete jungle. This is not the way you should be living your life. Many people here on earth live the same way as the Na'vi and love it. You should consider alternatives to your consumer driven life style.

We may not have floating mountains, but earth is extremely beautiful and people need to change their life style if they want to live like the Na'vi. No, this does not mean simply buying the movie and watching it over and over again on your HD TV.

Filmmaking on a Shoestring Budget

If you are interested in filmmaking, then you probably already know that the amount of money you can invest in filmmaking is endless. But if you are just starting out, you're not going to have a Hollywood budget. This article will give you ways you can make your films cheap. These are the same things taught in Film College, film training courses and at film education sites.

1. Make Sure You Have a Story Worth Telling.

Simply put, in filmmaking you are telling a story. Make sure your plot is exciting and will capture the interest of your audience. Be realistic here. Think big, but you're no Hollywood just yet okay? Make sure you have your script written or typed out before you begin production.

2. Use Equipment You Own

You don't have to buy big fancy equipment. If you have a simple hand held camera, good. Use it. At best, you can rent some good equipment. A cheap microphone, a cheap camera, cheap editing software, cheap lights and a well written script will go a long way in filmmaking.

3. Plan Your Work and Work Your Plan

After your script is written, you'll need to plan out how you are going to shoot each scene. Your script should already be broken up into scenes. Now it's time to write out how each scene is going to be shot. What angle are you going to shoot from? Is it a wide shot or close up? Make a list of what props to bring and how the actors are going to be standing. Leave no detail open for chance.

The reason for all this planning is, you may have to rent a place to shoot your movie. You're not going to want to figure this stuff out off the cuff. One of the biggest mistakes new film makers make is they fail to plan. So plan your work and work your plan.

Don't think you have to go to Film College to be a good film maker. You can learn a lot about filmmaking from your own home sitting in front of your computer. Do some research and enjoy yourself.
